Chapter and Membership Information
Each member of the Washington Home Care Association is committed to improving the quality of their agency by upholding high standards of care, conducting business in an ethical manner, and supporting their employees. We believe that by coming together we can educate the public and governmental agencies about private duty home care and improve the quality of individual agencies through education and best practices.
WAHCA members enjoy these benefits:
How Do I Join WAHCA?
Join WAHCA as a Member: Full voting membership in WAHCA Membership is open to any Washington State licensed home care or home health agency in good standing who is a member of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA), formerly the National Private Duty Association (NPDA). HCAOA membership is $849/year and includes WAHCA membership automatically! We encourage all agencies to join HCAOA because of the many important additional benefits that full membership offers. To join HCAOA and WAHCA, go to the membership application section on the HCAOA website.
Join as a Business Affiliate: We also welcome the participation of interested individuals and organizations who would like to stay in touch with WAHCA as a Business Affiliate. Business affiliates are not Washington State licensed home care agencies but provide services and support to the greater eldercare community. Receive regular informational emails, our bi-monthly newsletter, and the members discount to the annual conference. Membership costs $250/year. To become a Business Affiliate, complete the online Business Affiliate Application.
